Car Accidents

Many people consult chiropractors when they have been in some type of car accident.

Before selecting a chiropractor be sure to reseach several chiropractic offices to ensure that they offer what you need and are open at appropriate times for you. The first health care practitioner you visit, becomes the "head" of your treatment, and is named as such on the insurance coverage. If you realize after a number of visits that you are uncomfortable with your selected chiropractor, you will need to pay the costs of a new one yourself.

After you have chosen a chiropractor it is extremely important to have proper x-rays, films and examinations done, if necessary. It is also imperative that you follow your recommended rehab exercises.
